In this talk from 21st February 1982, Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja answers the question that if the worship of Govardhana is more important for Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavas, why do we find the worship of śālagrāṁa-śilā in Gauḍīya temples?

In this talk by Śrīla Śridhara Deva Gosvāmī Mahārāja, he explains the difference in worshipping śālagrāma-śilā and govardhana-śilā, and how the Gauḍīyas prefer the worship of Govardhana in the mood of rāga-mārga.

He is asked about hearing from unauthorised sources and states that it is best to hear from the purest source we can locate. Second to that is to hear from those who have put themselves under the guidance of such souls.

He also explains how the Krsna consciouness movement is not for increasing the numbers of kaniṣṭhas or madhyamas, but is supposed to make pure devotees.

Śrīla Narasiṅgha Mahārāja gives a seminar at Śaraṇāgati farm in British Colombia on June 23rd 2001. In this introduction, Mahārāja explains how the agent of Kṛṣṇa must also become a listener to his own words, and those that hear him must be alive and eager for that message from the infinite plane.

After reading Śrīla Prabhupāda’s purport to Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, 4.9.11, Śrila Narasiṅgha Mahārāja begins the class by explaining how there are two levels of ’24 hour service to Kṛṣṇa’ - one in the practicing devotees life, and the other in the aprākṛta-līlā of Kṛṣṇa (aṣṭa-kālīya-līlā). He explains how the form of that service takes a different form here, but it is non-different but they are given to us according to our present state of conditioning.
