On the auspicious morning of Gaura Purnima, Sri Yoga-Narasimha was presented with a beautiful "Salagrama hara" (necklace). The necklace consists of 54 Salagramas, each fixed in silver and linked together. The Salagrama hara was first bathed with sacred Kaveri water and rubbed with sandalwood oil before adorning the Lord.
