Govindaji Gardens Ashram - Narasingha Chaitanya Mattha

The Sri Narasingha Chaitanya Ashram is a devotional sanctuary (ashram) situated on the banks of the sacred Kaveri River in South India. The ashram and its activities were established by Swami B.G. Narasingha Maharaja under the inspiration of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Raksaka Sridhara Deva Gosvami Maharaja. The theology and ideals of the ashram are in the line of Gaudiya Vaishnava sampradaya stemming from the 15th century Krishna avatara, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and His immediate disciples, the Six Gosvamis.

The sole purpose and intention of establishing the ashram are to practice the regulative principles of shuddha-bhakti, pure devotional service, and to avail those teachings to sincere and interested souls. The spiritual leadership of the ashram is headed by the resident sevaite-acharya, Swami B.V. Yati Maharaja.

Sri Narasingha Chaitanya Ashram is a registered trust (Sri Narasingha Chaitanya Matha Trust).
