Devotees at Govindaji Gardens celebrated the auspicious appearance of Sri Nityananda Prabhu on Wednesday 4th February. A painting of Lord Nityananda was placed on the Vyasasana and decorated with garlands before the devotees sang bhajanas in praise of Lord Nityananda. Then some of the sannyasis that were present spoke on Nityananda-tattva.
Srila Visnu Maharaja spoke first on the special mercy of Lord Nityananda and the merciful qualities of the great devotees of the Lord. Sripada Bhakti Ananda Avadhuta Maharaja also spoke on the merciful aspect of Sri Nityanananda Prabhu and His deliverance of Jagai and Madhai. Sripada Bhakti Vijaya Narasimha Maharaja recited and explained some of the verses from Srila Sridhara Maharaja's Sanskrit composition 'Nityananda Dvadasakam'.
At midday there was an excellent feast and all the devotees and the many guests that attended felt great joy honoring the remnants of Sri Nityananda Prabhu.
