This years Janmastami celebrations saw about 11,000 guests visit Govindaji Gardens to take darsana of Sri Sri Gaura-Radha-Madhava, honor Their nectarean prasadam and hear hari-katha.
Kirtanas were held throughout the morning, afternoon and evening. Srila Narasingha Maharaja gave brahmana initiation to twelve devotees and Bhakta Dustin received first initiation and was given the name Daruka Dasa.












Traditional South Indian Nagesvaram and Hindustani Classical Flute were played for the pleasure of Their Lordships.


In the evening an abhiseka of Sri Sri Radha-Govinda was performed and then They were taken on procession in a palki around the temple. Simultaneously there was a colorful fireworks display.




Throughout the day, thousands of guests came for darsana of Radha-Madhava in Their new alankara.




Many guests flocked around the book table to buy transcendental literature, CDs and photographs. An group of Brahmana cooks prepared huge quantities of prasadam for mass distribution.




At midnight over 130 preparations were offered to Sri Krsna and honored by His devotees.
