From 7th till 13th of January, the devotees of Govindaji Gardens had the good fortune of hosting HH Jayadvaita Svami Maharaja, a senior disciple of Srila Prabhupada.
Maharaja has been in India for some time now and while travelling in South India, kindly came to visit our devotees here and give us his association.
Although Maharaja was busy writing in the early mornings, he was kind enough to consent to give Bhagavad-gita class one morning on verse 12.5 (kleso 'dhikataras tesam). He spoke on the various philosophies of the Buddhists, Mayavadis and materialists and pointed out the inherant flaws within all of them. All the devotes very much appreciated his expositions.
From Govindaji Gardens Maharaja will be traveling to preach in Egypt and South Africa.
