In this talk from February 22nd 1982, Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja explains why Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu gave the highest prema to the lowest persons. He also describes the magnanimity of the Pañca Tattva which helps the fallen jīvas advance in this age.

In this video, Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja is asked about the rasa of Śrīla Kṛṣṇa Dāsa Bābājī Mahārāja, and then goes on to discuss his realisations on the rasa of Śrīla A.C. Bhaktivedāṇta Swami Prabhupāda. Filmed at Sri Caitanya Saraswat Math, Navadvīpa, West Bengal, on May 16th 1983.

From a talk on January 12th 1983 in Śrī Caitanya Sāraswata Maṭha. Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja talks about Viṣṇupriya’s Deity of Mahāprabhu and how the worship had to go underground due to protests from the local brāhmaṇa community that they were worshipping an ordinary man as God. Totarāma Dāsa Bābājī had a debate with local Śakta paṇḍitas establishing Mahāprabhu as God Himself. He proved this by quotations from the scriptures and also that the yuga-dharma is nama-saṅkīrtana.

From a talk given on February 21st, 1982 at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Navadvipa. Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja explains our fundamental position in connection with the subjective world. He describes the various ways we can misidentify ourselves with the material body, mind and knowledge. He warns against hypocritical preaching and how we should first secure our own position before attempting to help others.

Srila Sridhara Maharaja explains about the five places where Pariksit Maharaja allowed the personality of Kali to reside, and encourages us avoid these cheating processes and to live simply, plainly, and truthfully in wholesale surrender to the Lord.

From a talk given on January 2nd, 1983 at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Navadvipa. Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja is asked the question "How do we develop sincere humility?" He explains the difference between real Vaiṣṇava humility and false humility without purpose. He warns that hypocrisy should not be indulged in the name of humility. We must understand this fundamental aspect of vaiṣṇava behavior if we are to progress in our spiritual life.

Our substantial connection is with sraddha (faith). Knowledge on it’s own lands us in the realm of doubt, suspicion and fear - where one can be suspended in inaction from fear of being cheated. We are seeking the ultimate shelter of Sraddha-devi in whose company knowledge has no place. Illiteracy and lack of knowledge are no obstacles for one who has a real taste and real contact with sraddha.
