Devotees of the Sri Narasingha Caitanya Math recently visited the ISTE, The Indian Society for Technical Education at Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Tumkur, Karnataka, India, for a presentation by Swami B B Visnu of the Powerpoint Presentation: “ SCIENTIFIC VERIFICATION OF THE VEDIC LITERATURE, ” Modern High Tech Research Techniques reveal highly developed scientific content of the Vedas and verify Vedic sanskrit statements. Future presentations of the Vedic Science Club will be available online.
The devotees also visited the ancient Laksmi Narasingha temples of Bhoga Narasingha and Yoga Narasingha on the scenic Devarayana Durga mountain near Tumkur.
The Bhoga Narasingha Deity at the base of the mountain was installed by Durvasa Muni two thousand years ago and the Deity of Yoga Narasingha situated high on the mountain top was installed by Lord Brahma. The temples were renovated by Ramanujacarya 800 years ago and are well maintained.
