The eighth day of the bright moon during the Vedic month of Bhadra is the most auspicious appearance day of Srimati Radharani.

At Sri Narasingha Caitanya Matha, the devotees observed a wonderful festival commemorating Srimati Radharani's appearance on Friday September 1st. Srimati Radharani in known as 'Nilambari' (one who is clad in blue) and thus, Sri Sri Gaura-Radha-Madhava were dressed in beautiful blue clothes and gorgeously decorated with garlands, leaves and flowers.

After darsana-arati and bhajanas to Srimati Radharani, Srila Narasingha Maharaja spoke on how divine personalities appear on this world and narrated the lila of Srimati Radharani's appearance as the daughter of Maharaja Vrsabhanu and Kirtida-devi. He then spoke in length on the 64 arts and explained how Srimati Radharani is expert in all of these because of Her desire to please Sri Krsna.

After the class, most of the asrama devotees went to the kitchen to help cook a feast which was later offered to Sri Sri Radha-Madhava and honored by the Vaisnavas.
