On 10th August, by the mercy of Lord Jagannatha and the blessings of Śrila Guru Mahārāja and all the Vaiṣṇavas, we were blessed to install an utsava-mūrti (ceremonial deity) of Śrī Patitapāvana Jagannatha at Govindaji Gardens.
The deity graciously arrived all the way from Puri, accompanied by Balaram Prabhu and a few other devotees. The auspicious event began with a private installation ceremony inside the closed doors of the Jagannatha temple. This was followed by a Yajna, Sankirtana, class, Ratha Yatra, Maha Mangala Arati, and finally prasadam for all the devotees.
Until now, during Jagannatha Ratha Yatra, we used to conduct the procession with the picture of our original Jagannatha. However, this year brought a special blessing. For the first time, devotees had the joy of seeing the utsava-mūrti of Jagannatha seated on the Ratha cart. The sight filled everyone with immense happiness, and devotees enthusiastically participated in all the celebrations with great jubilation and devotion.
