Haridasa Babaji Maharaja

Haridas Babaji first met his Guru, Swami B.G. Narasingha, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, USA, in 1963, at the age of 12. Moved by his kindness, he carried his memory with him throughout his life. He lost contact with him in 1966, and they reunited on the island of Maui, Hawaii, in 1996. Since then, he has followed him closely and received initiation from him in 2002.
He collaborated on various projects in service to his Guru in the United States and in India. He helped establish the beautiful gardens at Govindaji Gardens Ashram. He was also the anchor man (in Swami B.G. Narasingha's words) in the founding of the Surf Ashram and the Mantra Surf Club in Mulki, India.
Under the direction of Swami B.G. Narasingha, Haridas Babaji, was the sevaite at Srila Prabhupada's historic quarters and bhajan kutir at the Radha Damodara temple for several years, where he forged very warm ties with the Goswami sevaite family. He was also instrumental in helping in the renovation of Sri Radha Damodara Mandir.
He also spearheaded the renovation of Srila Rupa Goswami's well, which had been forgotten over time. The well used by all the acharyas who lived at Radha Damodara, including Srila Prabhupada, is arguably the most important well in Vrindavan. Also while at Radha Damodara, he was given Srila Prabhupada's first printed Bhagavatams. The first to come out off the printing press. In which he gave to his guru Swami B. G. Narasingha Maharaja.
In the last two decades Haridas Babaji came to Mexico on the orders of his Guru to establish Jardines Govinda Asram and fulfill his guru's wish to manifest in his words "the most beautiful ashram in the western world" and by divine inspiration of his gurudeva, he acts as the initiating guru in Mexico.
